I’ve had the wonderful job of coordinating Kairos since early 2018. I love bringing women and non-binary people together to share, connect and learn from each other. After I qualified as a social worker in 2014, I realised my heart was in charity work and I started my dream job in a Women’s Centre in England. I was lucky enough to be connected with Kairos from England, just as I was moving to Scotland. It was a real opportune moment for change – “a Kairos moment!” I have to pinch myself every day! I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to work alongside so many incredible folk in Renfrewshire.
I’m passionate about community-led work and believe real change comes when we collaboratively develop ideas and make them happen. I’m committed to building inclusive, accepting spaces where women and non-binary people feel a sense of love and belonging. I love to spend time with my wife, Charlotte, and my cat Fluff – the fluffiest cat around!
