HI! I’m Jilly. In 2024 I travelled from Indonesia to the UK, particularly Glasgow, to pursue my education at the University of Glasgow. A year later, I’ve had the opportunity to join a wonderful team at Kairos Women+ as an Outreach Worker. I have always had the passion and convictions to work in a community development, especially for empowerment, self-development, and education – these are foundational to how I navigate my professional and personal life. To me, a community plays an integral role in shaping a person’s views, beliefs, standings, and convictions about themselves and the world at large. Thus, creating a community that is safe, supportive, welcoming, warm, and inclusive is something I strive for.

My go-to and favourite activities to pass the hours outside of work are often revolving around books, music, and a walk in a park. Fortunately for me, Paisley and Glasgow offer so many beautiful parks for me to sit in with a cup of hot coffee.
