I originally from Kenya and my journey with Kairos has been truly transformative. From joining as a participant to volunteering, doing my student placement and working as a Project Worker.
I am passionate about women’s empowerment and social justice. I believe that the right support can transform an individual’s life and create change that reaches far beyond the individual. Through my work, I aim to co-create inclusive spaces where women+ can connect, learn and grow together.
Alongside my work at Kairos, I am also a reporter for Migrant Women Press where I share stories that highlight, migrant women’s voices and lived experiences. Music and dancing are a big part of who I am; they bring joy and remind me of culture and community.
Currently, I am studying Community Development at university, deepening my understanding of how local action can lead to lasting social change.
