The Equalities Collective is Kairos’ campaigning group. We listen to the needs of the community and increase awareness through social research and creative initiatives in order to effect change. We do hybrid (zoom and in-person) meetings twice a month. Our sessions are open to anyone who believes in equality and wishes to get involved in human rights projects, regardless of background in social research.

Drinks: We have 50p refillable tea and coffee or FREE if you don’t have pennies to spare! No one will ask you to pay, it’s a donation tub and you can choose if you can donate. We have a pay it forward scheme, so if you can afford an extra cuppa, you can pop the pennies in the pot for someone else.

Note on the space: we are based in the Embroidery Mill, directly across from Morrisons car park. We’re the mill building without the tall tower nearby.

Covid-19: if you have symptoms of Covid-19 please stay at home. You are welcome to wear a mask in the space – staff no longer wear masks. We clean our spaces regularly and hand sanitiser is available. If you are worried about covid-19 please contact us info@kairoswomen.org.
