I have spent the majority of my career so far working with women. I have worked directly with survivors of gender-based violence in both remote and rural and urban Scotland in the context of support, advocacy and policy research. Currently, I am responsible for the training of frontline rape and sexual abuse support workers across Scotland. I am also passionate about the role of power in culture, heritage and history and work to enable critical feminist, working class and decolonial interventions in this area, mainly working in capacity building with migrant and asylum seeking women.
I am a trade unionist and I love cats, sweet treats and the transformative power of collective action.
